Finnish Interior Minister Petteri Orpo said on Thursday that about 300 asylum seekers in Finland have connections with terrorist activities, Finnish national broadcaster Yle reported.

Orpo said Finnish police have said security in reception centers should be enhanced.

The Interior Ministry has decided to close three reception centers, and safety in 27 centers needs to be improved, said Orpo.

The Finnish National Bureau of Investigation confirmed on Thursday that two Iraqis have been arrested in Finland on suspicion of terrorism-related murders in Iraq. They are suspected to have been members of IS, the extremist militant organization. Endit
