Indian stocks close lower

Indian stocks saw a fresh bout of selling on Wednesday as investors grew increasingly concerned about a possible delay in the passage of the goods and services tax bill and the slump in crude oil prices.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,036.05, 274.28 points or 1.08 percent down from previous close of 25,310.33, with a turnover of 509.17 crore rupees (about 76.3 million U.S. dollars). Endit
