Nepal offers condolences to Tajikistan over loss of lives, property in major earthquake

Nepal has expressed deep condolences and sympathies to the government of Tajikistan over the loss of lives and property in the Dec. 7 earthquake, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday

The ministry said the Nepali government has also expressed solidarity with the people and government of Tajikistan at this tragic moment.

An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale with a depth of 10.0 km jolted 367 km east of Tajikistan's capital of Dushanbe at 07:50 GMT on Monday. Enditem
