2nd LD: Three injured in blast at bus stop in Moscow

Xinhua, December 8, 2015 Adjust font size:

Three people were injured in a blast reportedly caused by a firecracker at a bus stop in central Moscow, the TASS news agency reported Monday.

According to preliminary information, a self-made firecracker thrown by an unidentified person from the window of a passing car or a nearby building might have caused the blast, TASS said, quoting local police department spokesman Andrei Galiakberov.

Two women have been hospitalized, and a man with minor wounds was receiving medical treatment on the scene.

Investigators are currently on the site to determine the cause of the explosion. Endit
