S. Korean Chang named Chinese Super League side Chongqing Lifan's coach

South Korean Chang Woe-Ryong has been named the head coach of Chinese Super Leauge side Chongqing Lifan, announced the club here on Monday.

   Chang has signed a three-year contract with Lifan.

   The 57-year-old South Korean, a former player of the national soccer team, has started coaching career since 1989.

   He had coached Japan's J-League teams Kawasaki Green and Consadole Sapporo from 2000 to 2003, being the first South Korean coach at the J-League. He helped the Incheon United to rise from relegation zone to a second finish in 2005 and was named coach of the year.

   Chang came to China in 2011 and had coached Chinese Super League sides Qingdao Zhongneng and Dalian Arbin.

   Chang is expected to arrive in Chongqing on Dec. 11.  Endi
