Dollar in lower 123 yen range in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 123 yen zone in early trading on Monday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 123.21-22 yen compared with 123.04-14 yen in New York and 122.77-78 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro meanwhile fetched 1.0881-0882 dollars and 134.07-11 yen against 1.0881-0891 dollars and 133.83-93 yen in New York and 1.0871-0873 dollars and 133.47-51 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Enditem
