Man charged over malicious messages to British MP

Xinhua, December 7, 2015 Adjust font size:

A man has been charged with malicious communications following a police investigation into messages sent to a Member of Parliament (MP), Scotland Yard said on Sunday.

Craig Wallace, 23, who is known as Muhammad Mujahid Islam, was charged with the offence of malicious communications.

He was arrested at an address in north London, following an investigation into Facebook messages sent on Thursday, to a Member of Parliament.

He is in custody and will appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Police declined to name the MP, but said:"The MP does not represent a London constituency." Endit
