Evergrande to learn ACL 2016 opponents

Defending champion Guangzhou Evergrande will know who are their group stage opponents when the official draw for 2016 AFC Champions League takes place in Kuala Lumpur on December 10.

The group stage will kick off on February 23, after preliminary stage one (January 27), stage two (February 2) and play-offs (February 9).

Two Chinese clubs, Super League champion Evergrande and FA Cup winner Jiangsu Sainty will play the group stage. Shandong Luneng FC and Shanghai SIPG will start from the preliminary stage.
