British FTSE 100 drops 0.59 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday decreased by 0.59 percent, or 36.71 points, to 6,238.29 points.

Share price of Berkeley Group Holdings increased by 7.28 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Sage Group, easyJet, Randgold Resources Ltd. and International Consolidated Airlines Group SA increased by 5.16 percent, 2.58 percent, 2.49 percent and 1.30 percent respectively.

Glencore led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.25 percent, followed by Mondi (3.24 percent), Whitbread (2.91 percent), Anglo American (2.79 percent) and Royal Dutch Shell 'A' (2.46 percent). Endit
