Iceland's balance of trade switches to surplus in November

Iceland saw its balance of trade increase to a surplus of 800 million Icelandic krona (6.15 million U.S. dollars) in November, up from a deficit of 3.6 billion Icelandic krona in October, Statistics Iceland said Friday.

Preliminary figures show the value of exported goods amounted to 51.5 billion krona, while the value of imported goods amounted to 50.7 billion krona in November.

Compared with October, the value of exported goods in November increased 4.7 billion krona, while the value of imported goods increased 300 million krona. (1 U.S. dollar = 130 Icelandic Krona) Endit
