2 FIFA officials arrested in corruption scandal

Xinhua, December 3, 2015 Adjust font size:

Two FIFA officials were arrested on suspicion of accepting millions of dollars in bribes, confirmed by the Swiss government on Thursday.

The police caught the two people in early morning raids at the Baur au Lac hotel in Zurich, a similar place where more high-ranking FIFA officials were arrested on May 27.

The bribes were related to selling marketing rights in connection with football tournaments, according to the Swiss justice ministry. Endi
