Juventus eyeing Brazil goalkeeper Alisson, says agent

Xinhua, December 3, 2015 Adjust font size:

Italian champions Juventus are preparing an eight million-euro bid for Brazil international goalkeeper Alisson, according to media reports.

The Turin club views the Internacional stopper as a potential successor to Gianluigi Buffon, the Globoesporte news portal reported on Wednesday.

Alisson's agent, Ze Maria, confirmed Juventus have made an official approach for the 23-year-old.

"Juventus is one of the clubs that made an enquiry to me, among many others, but nothing concrete," Ze Maria said. "Eight million euros is good value. Alisson has attracted global interest. But we want a sports project, not just money."

Allison, who has also been linked to Roma, is currently Brazil's first-choice goalkeeper, having made his international debut in the Selecao's 3-1 victory over Venezuela in a World Cup qualifier in October.  Endi
