Suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers kill 4 in Cameroon: army source

Xinhua, December 2, 2015 Adjust font size:

Two suicide bombers suspected to be members of Nigerian Islamic group Boko Haram killed four civilians on Tuesday night in Waza, a town in Cameroon's Far North region, a military source says.

"Two bombs exploded in the locality of Waza in the Far-North Region, killing at least four Cameroonians as well as the two persons who carried the bombs," the source told Xinhua on Wednesday.

The army official added that during the last two weeks, Cameroonian troops have captured "some 100 Boko Haram militants" in areas near Lake Chad in Cameroon.

The militants are being kept in custody and will be tried in the coming days, he said. Enditem
