Taiwan stocks close down 0.07 pct

Taiwan's share prices closed lower Wednesday with the weighted index down 5.9 points, or 0.07 percent, to close at 8,457.4, according to news reaching here from Taipei.

Turnover totaled 89.96 billion new Taiwan dollars (about 2.75 billion U.S. dollars). Enditem
