Xinhua, December 2, 2015 Adjust font size:

Tokyo stocks were mixed from the morning bell Wednesday, as some investors adopted a wait-and-see approach ahead of raft of global macroeconomic news due this week including the European Central Bank's policy decisions.

As of 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average dropped 58.03 points, or 0.29 percent, from Tuesday to 19,954.37, while the broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange added 1.69 points, or 0.11 percent, to 1,603.64.

Early decliners comprised shipping and pulp and paper, whereas gainers were led by real estate and construction-linked issues. Endit
