Negotiations between the rebels and the Syrian authorities have been concluded on Tuesday with an agreement to evacuate the rebels from their last stronghold in Syria's central city of Homs, a well-informed source told Xinhua.
Governor of Homs Talal Barazi has concluded a final agreement with the armed rebels in the district of al-Waer, west of Homs, on allowing the evacuation of the rebels as of next week, the official source told Xinhua.(Syria-Rebels-Evacuation)

BEIJING -- Leaders of 25 media organizations from BRICS countries vowed to strengthen cooperation during the first BRICS Media Summit that concluded here on Tuesday.

JAKARTA -- Indonesian investigators on Tuesday said that crew errors and a fault with the rudder control system were the major causes of the crash of an AirAsia jet in December last year that killed all 162 people on board.

HARARE -- Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived here Tuesday for a state visit to Zimbabwe aimed at further cementing the traditional friendship between the two countries and charting the course for the future development of bilateral ties.
