Indian stocks close flat

Indian stocks closed slightly higher on Monday ahead of the fifth bimonthly money policy review by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and hours before the release of September quarter GDP growth numbers.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 26,145.67, 17.47 points or 0.07 percent up from the previous close of 26,128.20, with a turnover of 533.86 crore rupees (about 79.9 million U.S. dollars). Endit
