Head of Afghan private TV channel assassinated in Kabul

Unknown armed men assassinated the head of a private television channel, the Asia Television Channel, in Kabul on Sunday, Afghan local media reported on Monday.

According to local media reports, unknown persons in Karta-e-Naw locality killed Amanullah Ataee, managing director of Asia Television Channel Sunday night.

Police have yet to make comments.

Over three dozens of private television channels have been operating in Afghanistan. Enditem
