Tokyo shares end lower by break

Tokyo shares ended the morning session lower on Monday as a government report on the country's October industrial output failed to meet market expectations.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average fell 76.51 points, or 0.38 percent, from Friday to 19,807.43.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 9.45 points, or 0.59 percent, at 1,585.00. Endit
