State of emergency delcared in U.S. state of Oklahoma amid winter storm,flooding

The U.S. state of Oklahoma declared on Sunday a state of emergency for all its 77 counties after an ice storm and flooding hit the state over the weekend.
Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin said that the state of emergency will help facilitate mutual aid for Oklahoma, while nearly 100,000 homes were still without power in the state.
In the northern part of the U.S. state of Texas, where eight people died in floods on Friday and Saturday.
Meanwhile, in the U.S. state of Kansas, at least six people died in accidents on icy roads, while about 10,000 homes were out of power.
