Norway won the bronze medal at men's European Curling Championships with a 7-4 victory over Finland, in western Denmark's Esbjerg on Friday.

Last year's silver medalists Norway took a 3-0 lead after the first two ends. Though Finland's skip Aku Kauste drew to the house to score 1 point in the third end and another point in the fifth end, the Norwegians scored 2 points in the fourth end for a 5-2 lead by half-time.

In the second half, both teams played quite patiently and conservatively, and the score went point for point. Norway's skip Thomas Ulsrud scored 2 points in the sixth and eighth ends, and sealed the win 7-4 in nine ends.

Finals for both men and women will take place on Saturday. Endit
