Machine gun-wielding men probed in Hungary

Xinhua, November 28, 2015 Adjust font size:

Investigation is underway for two machine gun-wielding men who were detained by Hungarian police last week, police authorities said on Friday.

The duo who carry machine guns had intended to "execute" a member of the government. They claim they are members of a group called "army," according to Laszlo Tasnadi, an Interior Ministry official in charge of the police force.

The men, who were arrested on November 21 and charged with abuse of firearms and ammunition, have been placed in preliminary detention.

Both men had committed gun-related crimes before, according to the Interior Ministry. Enditem
