Dollar changes hands in upper 122 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 122 yen level early Friday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 122.63-65 yen compared with 122.50-60 yen in London at 4 p.m. and 122.63-64 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.0606-0607 dollars and 130.07-11 yen against 1.0610-0620 dollars and 130.10-15 yen in London and 1.0607-0608 dollars and 130.08-12 yen in Tokyo.
