Report says Tunis bus suicide bomber identified

Xinhua, November 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

Authorities have identified the suicide bomber in the Tunis attack Tuesday that killed 12 security agents, local media reported Thursday.

The remains of Houssem Abdelli, 27, was among 13 bodies discovered at the site of the bombing, local radio Mosaique FM said.

Twenty others were injured in the bombing attack on a bus with presidential security guards aboard.

President Beji Caid Essebsi has declared a state of emergency for 30 days and the closing of Tunisian borders with Libya for 15 days.

The Islamic State (IS) group claimed the attack through online posts.

The capital witnessed a previous IS attack in March 2015, on the Bardo museum, which killed 28, mostly foreigner tourists. Endit
