101 Palestinians killed in clashes with Israel since Oct. 1: Officials

Xinhua, November 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Thursday that 101 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli army and security forces since clashes with Israel began on Oct. 1.

Twenty-two children and four women were among the 101 Palestinians killed in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem, the ministry said in a statement.

More than 4,000 Palestinians were injured in the clashes, which also resulted in the death of 19 Israelis, who were stabbed, shot or run over by vehicles.

The Palestinian health ministry said the Israeli army is still withholding the bodies of over 32 Palestinians who were shot dead in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.

In the latest violence, two Palestinian men were shot dead Thursday by Israeli army and police forces in east Jerusalem near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, Palestinian health officials said.

Israeli state radio, quoting Israeli army officials, said one of the two was shot dead after attempting to stab an Israeli soldier at a roadblock.

The other was killed in clashes with Israeli security forces, the Palestinian health ministry said. Endit
