Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks closed higher on Thursday, bucking the muted trend seen in other Asian and European markets.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,958.63, 182.89 points or 0.71 percent up from previous close of 25,775.74, with a turnover of 585.56 crore rupees (about 88.0 million U.S. dollars). Endit
