The Russian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday that the downing of a Russian warplane by Turkey was "deliberate action."

The downing of the Su-24 is neither by mistake nor accident, but deliberate action, ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a small-scale press conference.

But she said Russia doesn't think of recalling its ambassador to Turkey.

Zakharova added that the incident would not affect Russia's efforts to push forward a peaceful settlement of the Syrian crisis. Endi
