Xinhua, November 25, 2015 Adjust font size:

Some 479 foreigners were barred from entering Georgia after the country beefed up border control after the Nov. 13 Paris terror attacks, the Interior Ministry said Wednesday.

It also said that 31 foreign nationals and one Georgian have been arrested for illegal border crossing between Nov. 14 and 24.

One Georgian and one Turkish national were arrested when they were trying to smuggle 15 Somalis from Georgia to Turkey in a truck via a border checkpoint, it said.
