Bomb attack occurs outside business offices in Athens

Xinhua, November 24, 2015 Adjust font size:

A bomb attack occurred outside the offices of Greece's Business Federation (SEV) in central Athens, early Tuesday, causing material damage, but no injuries, according to police.

Two local media organizations had received forewarning phone calls by unidentified persons, as it usually happens with local terrorist groups.

Early Saturday, the residence of State Minister Alekos Flambouraris in central Athens was targeted with a petrol bomb.

Since the start of the debt crisis in late 2009 and the introduction of painful bailout measures, politicians, police officers, journalists, businessmen, bank branches and other financial targets have been hit. In most cases there has been only material damage.

SEV's offices had been targeted by a makeshift bomb in 2010. Endi
