Dollar in upper 122 yen range in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in upper 122 yen zone in early trading on Tuesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 122.95-96 yen compared with 122.78-88 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Monday. On Monday markets here were shut due to a national holiday.

The euro meanwhile fetched 1.0635-0636 dollars and 130.76-77 yen against 1.0631-0641 dollars and 130.60-70 yen in New York late Monday afternoon. Endit
