Urgent: China pledges 10-bln-USD loans to boost Southeast Asian connectivity

China on Saturday offered loans totaling 10 billion U.S. dollars to boost infrastructure construction in economically converging Southeast Asia.

The loans, the second phase of the China-ASEAN infrastructure cooperation special loans, would help fund related projects, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said in an address to the China-ASEAN (10+1) leaders' meeting. Endi
