50 vehicles debut at 2015 LOS ANGELES Auto Show

Some 50 vehicles make their debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show which began here on Friday.

Better performance, electric and high-technology cars were among the debuts at the 10-day auto show at the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown of the city.

Honda's 2016 Civic Coupe, which is called "the sportiest, most sophisticated and tech-savvy Civic Coupe" by Jeff Conrad, the senior vice president of American Honda Motor Co. Inc. and general manager of the Honda Division, is one of the cars debut at the show.

Its hydrogen fuel cell uses zero-emissions technology with utility, range and refueling times similar to the gasoline-powered cars, according to the company.

However, the hybrid gas-electric 2016 Chevrolet Volt was named "Green Car of the Year" by the Green Car Journal, an industry magazine. Government fuel-economy figures show that the Volt can go 53 miles (85 km) on electric power alone and 420 miles (676 km) on gas and battery power.

Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, General Moters, Porsche, Lincoln, Fiat, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan,Jaguar, Land Rover, Volkswagen are among the brands that made their world debuts or North America debut on the auto show. Endi
