Confidence in Macedonia's manufacturing industry is 0.8 percentage points higher in October than the previous month and 7 percentage points higher than the same period in 2014, according to figures released by the Macedonian State Statistical Office (SSO).

According to an assessment made by business managers, the current volume of production orders in October 2015 is higher compared to the previous month, though a decrease was recorded in stocks of finished products.

According to the SSO, confidence in the economy in October is higher compared to September 2015, as well as to the same period last year.

Figures showed what influenced production volumes in October 2015 most were a shortage of skilled labor (23.9 percent), insufficient domestic demand (23.8 percent), insufficient foreign demand (23.7 percent) and competitive imports 6.8 (percent). Enditem
