Chilean firm offers course for importing Chinese goods

Xinhua, November 20, 2015 Adjust font size:

A Chilean consulting firm is offering potential importers a course on how to import products from China.

The Nov. 27-28 course, called "Personalized, Practical Course on Importing from China," aims to help business owners navigate Chinese websites, such as Alibaba, and place their orders.

"Participants will be able to manage and visualize a globalized importation process" from start to finish, including the customs stage, said the director of consulting firm DirecTOchina Alfredo Rehren.

China and Chile have a free trade agreement signed in 2005, which facilitates trade exchanges between companies.

"We think knowledge is the key to growth as an entrepreneur, and for that you need to know when is the best moment, place, price and supplier at the moment of investing," said Rehren.

Customs and shipping agents will make presentations as part of the course, which also offers an introduction to Chinese culture.

The course will be offered again on Dec. 11-12. Endi
