Chinese, Comoros presidents exchange congratulations on anniversary of ties

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Comoros counterpart Ikililou Dhoinine have exchanged congratulations on the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In his congratulatory message, Xi said China-Comoros relations have made sound and steady progress since the two countries forged diplomatic ties in 1975.

China attaches great importance to its relations with Comoros and stands ready to work with Comoros, taking the anniversary as a new starting point to lift bilateral ties to a higher level.

Praising the profound friendship between Comoros and China, Dhoinine said that Comoros is willing to join hands with China to promote the development of bilateral ties so as to achieve common development. Endi
