LME base metals mostly increase on Wednesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Wednesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 23.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.48 percent, to 4,938 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 27 U.S. dollars, or 1.81 percent, to 1,519.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 16 U.S. dollars, or 0.98 percent, to 1,613 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 13 U.S. dollars, or 0.82 percent, to 1,606 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 32.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.34 percent, to 9,537.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 237.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.63 percent, to 14,812.5 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
