CPC publicity chief vows further media cooperation with ROK

The publicity chief of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Wednesday vowed to enhance media cooperation between China and the Republic of Korea (ROK).

Chinese and ROK media should strengthen exchanges and cooperation to contribute to the two country's strategic partnership, said Liu Qibao, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, in a meeting with an ROK media delegation in Beijing.

Liu also hailed the role played by media exchanges in promoting bilateral cultural and economic cooperation.

Chief delegate Kim Han-kyu, also chairman of the 21st Century ROK-China Exchange Association, said the ROK side will further promote constructive cooperation between media of the two countries to bolster mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples. Endi
