Uganda's Mugabe, Kenya's Changawa win 2015 Uganda Open titles

Uganda's Duncan Mugabe and Shuffa Changawa of Kenya won the men's and women's singles titles respectively at the 2015 Uganda Open Tennis Championship on Saturday.

Mugabe beat David Oringa of Uganda 6-2, 6-1 in the final played at the Lugogo Court. Mugabe showed flashes of brilliance with his steady play and quick reactions which caught his opponent off guard.

In the women's singles, Changawa defeated Rwanda's Mergane Ingabire 6-2, 6-3. Changawa later paired with another Kenyan player Ibrahim Kibet to beat Mugabe and Shamim Mayanja 6-6, 6-2 in the mixed doubles final.

The tournament attracted players from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. Endi
