More than 158,000 migrants enter Slovenia since mid-October

A total of 158,171 migrants have entered Slovenia since October 17, while on Friday alone 6,655 arrived, Official Slovenian police figures showed on Saturday.

There were almost 3,400 migrants living at accommodation and reception centres, most of whom were in Sentilj and Gornja Radgona, two major centres in northeastern Slovenia.

The official police report said the busiest day in terms of new arrivals was October 21, when as many as 12,616 people entered Slovenia in a single day.

Slovenian Police figures showed that some 142,900 migrants have already left the country, according to the local media Slovenian Press Agency. Endit
