French stock market index up 0.08 pct on Friday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 finished the trading day with an advance of 0.08 percent to close at 4,984.15 points on Friday, up 4.11 points.

By closing, 28 of the 40 selected companies gained advance, while 12 companies experienced decrease.

The top three gainers of Friday were Safran, up 4.13 percent, Saint Gobain, up 3.51 percent, and BNP PARIBAS, up 3.11 percent.

The three companies that lost most were Sanofi, down 6.84 percent, LVMH, down 2.74 percent, and Veolia Environnement, down 1.88 percent.

In previous trading day, the CAC 40 experienced an advance of 0.64 percent, or 31.75 points, to close at 4,980.04 points. Enditem
