British FTSE 100 falls 0.75 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, Britain's benchmark stock market gauge, decreased by 0.75 percent, or 47.98 points, to 6,364.90 points on Thursday.

The share price of RSA Insurance Group increased by 3.35 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. AstraZeneca, easyJet, Persimmon and Barratt Developments increased by 2.90 percent, 2.31 percent, 2.21 percent and 2.09 percent respectively.

Anglo American led the top losers of the blue chips with a massive share price drop of 7.68 percent, followed by Standard Chartered, 6.31 percent, Morrison (Wm) Supermarkets, 5.63 percent, Randgold Resources, 4.43 percent, and Aberdeen Asset Management, 4.12 percent. Endit
