Xinhua, November 5, 2015 Adjust font size:

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Serbia on Wednesday pledged to strengthen bilateral cooperation in their first joint government session since 1990s Bosnia War.

The two sides signed a series of agreements, action plans and memorandums over search for missing persons, economic cooperation as well as environment protection.

BiH Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic noted the joint session was very significant and that it was a symbol of regional cooperation.

"The joint session demonstrates that we are ready for dialogue," he said, adding that the session would provide guidelines for regional cooperation.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, meanwhile, said the joint session was important for the future.

"We should look to the future. It is a message of solving problems together, a message of understanding ... a good message for all of our peoples," he said. Endit
