British FTSE 100 increases 0.46 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday increased by 0.46 percent, or 29.27 points, to 6,412.88 points.

Share price of Glencore increased by 5.36 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Morrison (Wm) Supermarkets, G4S, Anglo American and Smiths Group increased by 3.51 percent, 3.11 percent, 2.99 percent and 2.87 percent respectively.

Taylor Wimpey led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.94 percent, followed by Berkeley Group Holdings (3.25 percent), Persimmon (3.23 percent), British Land Company (2.57 percent) and Barratt Developments (2.47 percent). Endit
