FIFA to set up special committee in Indonesia

The world's soccer governing body, FIFA, is planning to establish a special committee in Indonesia for the soccer reform in the country, official said here on Tuesday.

   Among the member of the committee will be the government officials, members of the country's football association and association of football players, coaches, media, independent members and others, Chairman of Indonesian Football Association La Nyalla Matalitti said.

   "The establishment of the ad hoc committee will be done on Nov. 13," Nyalla said at the football association office.

   On Monday, delegates from FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) met with Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Sport Minister Imam Nachrowi.

   The delegates from FIFA and the AFC had also met with the country's football association and football player association.

   The delegates are members of executive committee of FIFA, Prince Abdullah from Malaysia, Kohza Tashima from Japan, and executive committee of AFC Mariano V Araneta Jr. from Philippines.

   The delegates, who arrived in Indonesia on Sunday, are on a three-day visit.  Endi
