Rockets beat Thunder 110-105 to enjoy first win of the season

Xinhua, November 3, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Houston Rockets had their first win of the season by surprisingly beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-105 at the Toyota Center on Monday night.

The Rockets should get congratulations from their fans as this is not an easy win for them after experiencing three consecutive losses of the season. But unfortunately, it is the first loss for the Thunder, who had won their first three games of the season.

In fact, the Rockets did not have a good start in the game, but they are lucky to have the players like James Harden, who helped the Rockets have their final victory against the Thunder this time.

During the first half, the Thunder outshined the Rockets by beating the latter in the first quarter 26-21 and 39-33 in the second quarter. The Rockets were lucky enough in the second half to have a perfect performance by scoring 28-14 in the third quarter and 28-26 in the fourth quarter.

It was unfortunate for the Thunder to lose the game even if the visiting team has two famous players like Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, and the two added 37 and 25 points respectively.

For the Rockets, Jame Harden scored 37 points, his teammates Dwight Howard and Ty Lawson had 16 points and 14 points respectively. Endi
