Brunei's Sultan sends condolences to Putin over flight crash

Brunei's Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah has sent a message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin,the government and people of Russia to extend deepest sympathy following the crash of Flight 7K 9268 in Sinai, Egypt, the state Radio Television Brunei (RTB) reported Monday.

In the message, the Sultan expressed his great sadness to learn about the loss of life caused by the crash.

He, as well as the government and the people of Brunei Darussalam, wished to convey their deepest condolences to President Putin, the government and people of the Russian Federation, especially to the bereaved families of the victims of this tragedy.

The Russia charter flight carrying 224 passengers and crew crashed early Saturday shortly after taking off from the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, killing all aboard. Endit
