Russia wins men's saber team World Cup

Russia won the men's saber team World Cup here on Sunday, beating the United States 45-44 in the final while Hungary triumphed over Germany 45-42 for the third place.

The Cup-winning Russian fencers were Alexey Yakimenko, Nikolay Kovalev, Kamil Ibragimov, and Dmitriy Danilenko.

The second place US team included Eli Dershwitz, Daryl Homer, Peter Souders, and Jeff Spear, while the Hungarian team presented with Tamas Decsi, Nikolasz Iliasz, Andras Szatmari, and Aron Szilagyi.

From fifth to eighth places Italy, South Korea, China and Poland.
