Four killed in Philippine capital fire

Xinhua, November 1, 2015 Adjust font size:

Four people, including a two-month old male infant, were killed and two others injured in a fire that broke out in a residential area in Metro Manila on Sunday morning, police said.

The Southern Police District said the 30-minute fire occurred in Palanan village in Makati City.

Despite the immediate response of the firefighters, the fire quickly spread out because the two-story house where the fire started was made of light materials, investigators said.

About 30 families were left homeless due to the incident, while investigators were still trying to determine the cause of fire. Endit
