Central China road accident kills 5, injures 8

Five people died and eight others were injured after a van plunged into a valley in central China's Hunan Province early on Saturday.

The accident happened in Longhui County around midnight. The vehicle was on a mountain road with 13 people onboard. Five passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. The injured are being treated in hospital.

The driver is being questioned by police. Endite
