FIFA, AFC delegates to visit Indonesia

Delegates from Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will arrive in Indonesia on Sunday to discuss the possibility of lifting FIFA sanction on the country, statement said here on Friday.

"It is expected there will be a solution so that the Indonesia' s football can get benefit and be accepted at the international community," Azwan Karim, secretary general of Indonesia football association said in the statement issued by the association.

The delegates comprised members of executive committee of FIFA, Prince Abdullah from Malaysia, Kohza Tashima from Japan, and executive committee member of AFC Mariano V Araneta Jr, from the Philippines.

The delegates are scheduled to meet with President Joko Widodo, Sport Minister Imam Nachrowi, and Indonesian football association and others, Mr. Karim said at his office. Endi
